Mike is amazing!! He and his wife work together and came on time, set up with no fuss and started playing amazing music right from the start. All ages loved the music so much and everyone was dancing immediately from the first song.
It meant that his wife could come and tell us when things were happening which was brilliant.
We had no band and no one missed one at all. Before the wedding my mum said she might miss live music but then was raving about Mike at the end and saying it?s better than most wedding bands she has heard.
Mike responded to any query instantly with lots of information, was very professional and incredible value for money.
We honestly could not recommend Mike enough and one of my engaged cousins is now looking to book him!
To top all of that off they are such happy people, as a couple and when working. They were genuinely happy for us and I would hire them again for any event in the future.

I would highly recommend AM Sounds!! Mike was a pleasure to deal with from the first time I contacted him, and he and his wife Bernie played a blinder on the night. Mike created a great atmosphere - everyone danced the night away! He took on board everything that we had asked him in advance regarding volume (loud enough to have a good atmosphere but not so loud that people can't talk) and songs to play, but he also read the room.
He took requests from the floor, but if there were any dodgy requests then Mike or Bernie would ask us whether we were OK with it, which I was really impressed with! Mike even assisted in setting up the sound for my little a capella group when we did a performance after the meal. We didn't have a band, so getting a good DJ was really important, but we hit the jackpot with AM Sounds. I can't recommend them enough!

Mike was extremely helpful in everyway. Booking was straight forward. Nothing was an issue. On the night Mike set up at the same time as our band and showed a slideshow for us during the band playing time. This was such a nice touch. Games and music was brilliant, we didn't have to give any guidance, Mike was able to read the room and work with it to ensure a full dancefloor all night long. I would highly recommend Mike to any future couples, I just wish we could do it all over again..

We had a destination micro-wedding, approx. 25 people, but that didn't stop us from dancing the night away, thanks to Mike and his wife. Planning this wedding from afar was challenging, but Mike was very professional and responsive. His whole setup is fantastic, with the disco lights and the screen for a picture slideshow and music videos. They were even flexible enough to agree to keep the party going longer than we had originally planned. We're from the states and have a lot of New Orleans and Mexican culture, and he was able to play everything from New Orleans Bounce to Reggaeton to Tejano to our pop punk favorites. We even got to celebrate Irish style and Rock the Boat.
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you so much for being another piece that contributed to our perfect day!
